For their second game of the WeGotNext League season, the Grizzlies took on the Hustlers. With the Hanley based outfit playing in front of their own crowd, this would be a stiff test for the young grizzlies. 

A strong start by the Grizzlies led to some really good defensive stops and some good opportunities on the offensive end, but the Grizzlies couldn't turn the good defence into points on the board, with this coming back to haunt them later in the game. 

The Hustlers lived up to their name in the second half, really putting on the pressure with some key offensive plays to stretch the lead out to 10 with 4 minutes left. The Grizzlies tried to fight back but with not enough time left on the clock, Hanley eventually ran out winners. 

Coach Akker has this to say: "Today was another step in the right direction. The boys played well, showed some great spirit and managed to string together some key plays, especially on defence. We are close to achieving our team expectations on the court and we look forward to the next game!"
